For those interested, the poem is by Hosho McCreesh! edit: and the last line is, "a better poet than most."

This is the most amazing thing ever. There *are* actually songs on here from various times in my life from which I would like to refind my soul from those times. The song from Norway, the Dead Can Dance, and the Philip Glass, all very significant to me. I am finding my soul.

I've always had a fascination with cicadas. They were a subject of mine when I was in college for art. But the poem really struck me. I resonate with it so much.

This mix really amused me, it's just impressive how the next song connects with my personal interest, non boring soundtracks all are unskippable, never found a mix so much accurate to my taste

Me too. I found the whole poem: Cicada Sick of his own face, sick of his skin, of the dark, he crawls outside himself to sing- a better poet than most. Hosho McCreesh

Reminds me of "When they cry" and Madoka Magica. Thank you so much for such conceptual playlist, worked for me as a breather, fresh air after long day of work. Made me feel as if I was somewhere in the forest performing a ritual on the bright and sunny day, like nothing else was troubling me but a spell stuck in my head.

HI! i went back to find your comment to tell you, the genre you're looking for is Bulgarian choir. it's that certain sound that is shared between Madoka Magica, When they cry, and many other things in pop culture. : )

Wow, this is incredibly moving. The music takes you on a deep emotional journey, almost like a reflection of the soul's search for connection and peace. It feels like every note is guiding me closer to something within myself. Truly a beautiful and healing soundtrack. Thank you for sharing such a powerful experience.

This piqued my interest because our boat is named La Cigale, which means The Cicada. Wasn't disappointed. The music resonates with the history of the boat that was owned since it's beginning in1976 by an old french man who sailed her around the world. Now it's our turn. She has a picture of a cicada playing a violin on her bow.

Actually in a weird place in my life right now. Been trying to reduce bad habits and form good ones. Some days I'll feel really out of it, like is it really possible to maintain a life of good habits? I guess all I can do is take it one day at a time, and focus only on today's maintenance.
