Low vision, endless canyons, caves one more deadly than the other, hostile orcs everywhere and on top wild animals everywhere hunting for their next meal. Unmatched with this music.

I was chuffed for skyrim because i missed my first time in Nordmar... disappointed. Loved how you never could wrap your mind around the geography of the place... you were always lost in that wilderness, and the animals there would maul you. But! after a good while and dilligence, the zone provides you with the means to stay alive. It felt so hostile, so dangerous... just awesome. Ofc, dat music.... Nostalgia man... it's good thing actually.

I see here comments from past ten years and I feel some kind of sadness because game devs stopped making good rpgs(good single player games in general), but at the same time I am proud of that community, all patches created for that game and Piranha Bytes for Elex. And I know that good soundtrack from Gothic 3 won't die. It never gets old :D

Komentarz późny jak diabli wiem, ale w takim razie chyba miałem mega farta. Gothica 3 przechodziłem 2 razy, z przyczyn technicznych nie ukończyłem ani razu (chociaż za drugim razem już miałem połowę miast wyzwolonych więc to była formalność). W obu przypadkach rozpruwacza znalazłem, chociaż rzeczywiście jak teraz myślę to trochę się go szukało.

Ja nie robiąc misji w nordmarze, wgl w żadnym klanie tylko czyściłem go, żeby na potem mieć spokój i niechcący na tego rozpruwacza się natknąłem :P Tak samo rozpierdoliłem wszystkie te grobowce nordmarczyków, niby nordmar taki mały a ciężko te grobowce było znaleźć xD

Me, too. Varant is more going into "pure-Arabic" Direction and Myrtana has a nice Feeling, but is not so desolate and silent as most Places of the old mining Colony from Gothic 1 - and this silent Atmosphere was Part of the whole Gothic- Feeling, too. Northmar was best with that.

Jesus, that place was so horrifying, brutal and nerve wrecking, yet so cool and beautiful. I am pretty sure I was more lost in that place than anything else. Remember pulling those goddamn skeletons from that tomb uphill towards that one dude. If I menaged to pull only one out of the cave, I would kill it myself, but pulling 2 or more was a highway towards that guy. Strange how whenever I see snow in any game that I play I think of this place, mainly this theme. Was hoping that Skyrim would bring me the same feeling and while it did indeed bring a very unique feeling, nothing can compare to the northern reaches of this land.

Jak trafilem do Klanu Wilka to podziwiajac widoki ze skarpy, pomyslalem sobie "fajnie by bylo tu zamieszkac". Uwielbiam Nordmar. Jak dla mnie to najlepsza kraina ze wszystkich gothicow. Ten snieg, zamiecie i wszystkie potwory dookoła tworza swietny, surowy klimat, i czujesz sie naprawde zagrozony. Najlepsze dla mnie było, jak sie zgubilem, szukajac wiezy Xardasa i blakalem sie po polnocno-wschodnich terenach Nordmaru. Wedrowki po Nordmarze bez kamieni teleportacyjnych to pewna śmierć.

Czy tylko ja miałem takie wrażenie że na początku Gothic 3 muzyka sprawiała ze można było poczuć się w jakiś sposób wolnym, oswobodzonym, można było tyle rzeczy zrobić, a potem gdy przekroczyłem granicę Faring, to poczułem klimat pierwszego Gothica? Poczułem się mniej pewnie, zaszczuty, znowu zaczął mnie ogarniać ten surowy klimat z Gothica 1.... Niesamowite!

Ah Northmar, my second favourite place in Gothic 3 - first one is Varant Desert. However I need to laugh how everyone complain about Skyrim. Yes it is peacefull, calm. Warm. You know why ? Because horror of Skyrim is beneath the surface - beneath the ice. It waits there, once you get too confident by seemingly calm weather, joyfully deciding to explore. Skyrim was not desolate threacherous place to live in - it had to be more warm less threatening considered all culture there. And Nords are not as serious and deadly like Northmar people were, I mean ever since TES III they always were depicted as incorrect drunks, who love fighting mixed with even more drinking. Northmar folk are focused on survival against Northmar itself, and Nords don't do that ever since they left Atmora to be frozen desolate tomb already. This is why they are in Skyrim after all. But it was it's secrets which were supposed to be horrible. I will say that I wanted Skyrim to be more cold and snowy, but I didn't expected it to be like Northmar either - it's too populated and nords are too much of a conquerers to be squandered in maybe 3 places on entire map (like people in Northmar they were just smaller clans).

I love Northmar, for me this is the best land in all gothic series. This snow, these snowstorms which limit the visibility and all these vicious creatures around create fantastic, severe atmosphere, and then u feel really endangered. The best moment for me was when I got lost while looking for Xardas tower, and I was wandering at the north-east site of Northmar. I agree with Neoscalex too - exploring Northmar without teleport stones is a certain death.

Grałem w tą grę parę razy, i za ostatnim razem doznałem zaćmienia i nie mogłem znaleźć wieży Xardasa... Zawsze kochałem tą krainę, a zarazem nienawidziłem. Wg mnie to była jedna z najcięższych krain w sandboxach ever. Wiecznie mgła, co chwilę atakowało Cię coś silniejszego od Ciebie (wataha białych wilków to przekleństwo tej gry), i co chwilę się spadało w przepaści...

Nordmar to moja kraina :D Grając w G3 po raz pierwszy, zaraz po premierze, gdy tylko spotkałem pierwszego nordmarczyka, pomyślałęm sobie, że muszę zostać jednym z nich. Nawet gdy nie poznałem jeszcze wszystkich frakcji. I tak się stało. Poza tym żadna inna kraina w G3 nie jest tak mistyczna i niebezpieczna jak nordmar. Często czułem nawet podenerwowanie gdy goniło mnie stado szablozębów albo hordy orków z szamanami. Po prostu ma pewien specyficzny klimat :)

Nordmar jest oczywiście wspaniały, ale ma dwa minusy. Po pierwsze jest najmniejszą krainą (i najbardziej pokręconą) no i nie ma tam żadnych rywalizujących frakcji, można pomagać tylko barbarzyńcom.
