Roy Budd was a genius, a prodigy with the musical form. Budd was so experimental and often way ahead of anything else at the time. This score is a monumental soundtrack. Budd died young, but his film work is testament to a remarkable talent.

As a young teen I read every Alistair MacLean novel - saw this movie when first released. As an older film collector now I still long for a decent Blu-Ray copy of this movie to be released in region 1/US format.

we saw this film because it started with a 15 minute car chase (I'm sure that wasn't in the book). People don't realize how big car chases were, in the70s
