I honestly think this is the best and most versatile tremolo you've done so far by miles. Great demo.

Best Trem on the market. I got mine as new, with all the trimmings, for 150 Australian kangaroo dollars. Worth every hop.

FYI - The Boss SL-20 (slicer/tremolo) can be programmed to retrigger at launch.

Hey Henning, how do you decide which guitar to use for gear reviews?
@ronlight70138 жыл бұрын
Within the first few notes it was clear this pedal is so much warmer than the Diamond Tremolo. I thought maybe you were playing a hollow-body guitar, but no, the same T-style as before. I'm really surprised: It's a much warmer pedal all by it's lonesome self.

Should do another add on video for this pedal like you did with the SY1000 just to cover the sounds

Pretty sure you can plug in the little source audio tap tenpo ( and expression pedal) to this)

Why does the Flint sound so much better tho? Especially the harmonic trem.

I also think the Flint sounds better. This sounds too digital....to me at least.

Man this sounds amazing! The deal breaker question Henning. You said there was a preset mode. Can you save different algorithms for each preset option. So phaser in one, Leslie in another, Harmonic trem in another or is it just the knob settings that can be saved?
@EytschPi428 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can save EVERYTHING !

But you can't use any MIDI controller. You have to buy the Source Audio "Hub" thing. Cash grab.
@heartpath16 жыл бұрын
Matt Gilbert I respectfully disagree. The HUB lets you instantly save your pedal scene as a whole with one button. IMHO it's a genius idea that is the perfect solution for the way I work. MIDI presets are just a bonus. It's waaaaay easier to get your different pedals sounding the way you want and then saving a scene vs. saving individual presets in each pedal. It's a more intuitive and holistic approach. Being able to always have the option lean down and tweak is amazing. So much easier than multi effects and menus.

A little off topic... But I have a question about mini pedal housings. I have my eye on the Mooer M6 pedalboard/case. It can house a Wahter and 5 mini pedals. But the MXR won't take a Z connector for example The ones that do seem to have the same housing are Mooer, Joyo, Tone City and even the Ibanez mini TS seems to be from the same factory But it's always hard to tell from pictures alone. Maybe you could ask Thomann to send you an M6 case plus a collection of mini pedals from different brands. So we can witness you testing them all for compatibility. All the reviews out there of the M6 case are just loaded with Mooer pedals and after giving out very little info about the case they just go straight to reviewing the pedals. Plenty of people comment wanting to know what brands fit the case. But nobody has a straight answer If one of your subscribers happens to read this and has tried to figure this out already... please share... maybe we can compile a list of compatible brands together

Oh thanks I hadn't noticed that. I won't get that case then. Too bad. Sorry if I'm double or even triple posting comments actually. I don't know why it's doing that and I can't seem to fix it. It's pissing me off

How do you hook it up to the app?? It would need to use bluetooth or the usb/lightning port on the pedal and phone - right?

Does anyone know if the additional footswitch that you can buy for this allows for the retriggering of the wave like henning mentioned at the end of the video?

I recently watched a video on the Z.Vex Sonar, and if I recall correctly, the Sonar does in fact have a switch where the waveform does start exactly when you presss the switch. Watch the official Z.Vex demo of that pedal on youtube, I think they say it in that video at some point... Actually I would really enjoy seeing you demo some Z.Vex pedals, some of them are really different from anything else :) Cheers
