Personally, I would like to see the process of making an animation. Whether it be in part-by-part commentary or like a timelapse. Keep up the great work!

as someone who works a lot with tf2 animation, I usually try my best to use what the map gives me to get a more close to home feel in the animation, like if I go to the bridge on 2fort and add like 9 crates 4 boxes of beer and 14 randoms crushed cans. A the boxes and crates will get in the way of animating, and the cans would do absoloutely nothing, so usually ill use map props for my animations.

I know this is kind of a dumb question, but did you download the plain model somewhere or did you make it yourself? I can't seem to find it anywhere

Looking at how you use the props that were originally made for something else and giving them a new purpose reminds me of kit bashing.

Not anymore LOL, the SJW direction Disney has taken things has killed my love for the franchise.

SFM is very intimidating. Valve tutorials are a great way to start. What you'll find is that around 70% of the stuff you're looking at, you're not gonna touch for quite a while. Basically just take bite sized chunks of functions and use 'em. Basic models and lighting at first. Move into more complex posing and lighting, move to more scene building and particles. (etc. etc. etc.)

how do I save the "scenebuild" so that I can use it for multiple animations? Or do I have to completely recreate the scene everytime?
@05-4-k6c2 жыл бұрын
You cant save models, so you cant save scenebuilds
