Thanks for the tutorial. I love setting up the right footswitch to swap between two reverbs. Great for live gigs with songs that require changes midway through and you can't lean down to make the changes by hand. Looking forward to the Neuro App editor update for the Ventris!

Thanks for the kind words. During the development of the Ventris we thought it would be super-useful to be able to quickly switch back and forth between two reverb sounds with a smooth transition. So I'm very happy to hear that you are taking advantage of that feature. You can also assign that function globally (meaning it will apply to every preset) to an external switch.

It certainly is. There are a lot of great options out there for Reverb but the extra features like this pushed me to the Ventris!

Hi, is it possible to use the editor "output" control to make a preset in witch the global volume is boosted for solos? And if so, how many dB is the boost capability? For me this could be an incredible bonus! Thank you very much in advance 😊

Can I program the pedal so that it can be pre or post effect? For example sometimes I like to use reverb before my overdrives.

16:07 Any chance this feature will be added to the Collider? It would make playing over ambient drones much easier not having to hold down the foot switch.

Can you control the expression via midi? Just curious. I’ve been in love with my ventris for over a year now but have had no luck

Can someone please explain how to make the Ventris work with my Soleman and Neuro Hub!? Mine doesn’t!!! My Nemesis, Lunar, LA Lady work flawlessly... but the Ventris doesn’t even seem to be recognized... I know it’s not compatible with the software... but presets wont save on neuro hub... I tried it in different slots with different cables... Does Not Work...

I can't find your presets like the Surfy Bear. In fact I haven't found many presets to download but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I did find your preset tab but am not seeing many to choose from. How do I publish my own? I have the phone app but it's not seeing the presets I created via the computer app.

We're working on integrating the Neuro Mobile App and the Neuro Desktop Editor. The Surfy Bear sound can by achieved by selecting the Outboard Spring engine Reverb Engine A dropdown menu. We recently posted a video that explains how to use the Ventris with the Neuro Mobile App. You can also email us at contact@sourceaudio.net if you have any questions. Here is a link to our "Navigating the Neuro Mobile App with the Ventris Dual Reverb" video and blog - www.sourceaudio.net/neuro-mobile-app-and-ventris-dual-reverb.html

Probably already been answered somewhere but do you have any plans of creating VSTs plugins from these reverb algorithms?
@sourceaudioeffects
@sourceaudioeffects 6 жыл бұрын
Well we've certainly kicked that idea around, but at the moment we have no definite plans to move forward on something like that. We are very much geared towards hardware right now, so it would take some major restructuring to move into the plug-in realm. Still, anything is possible.

Hi !! Question. Where are the added reverb engines from the editor ? How to add them to ventris ? Thanks a lot.
@sourceaudioeffects

Hi Javier. At the moment we have 2 additional reverb engines (there are more to come) you can engage them with the Reverb Engine dropdown menu, we get into that around 8:30 in the video. You can save those reverb engines either in one of the preset positions or you can save them to one of the positions on the Effect Selector knob and override the default reverb engine in that position. We get into that at around 22:50 in the video. Thanks for using the Ventris!

Source Audio has been asking around for opinions, what people would like to see. 1) Harmonic Tremolo. 2) It would also be nice to have something along the lines of the Big Sky's Cloud and Bloom engines. 3) Another thing that I would love to see in future Ventris engines would be the kind of stuff you can get from the Maxon Vintage Jet Riser VJR-9 kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKmXm5J_nNyifrM (more demos at maxon.co.jp/e2_index.html ) Improvement Needed with Neuro Preset Previews: Every preset that other Ventris users have created and published should be easily available for preview, perhaps using one and the same short looped example for all. PS. The Internal Loop is nice: flangers tend to work there pretty good. 7:35

Anyone can explain what is cascade mode for this reverb? I'am drom indonesia, i still dont understand about cascade mode. And thank's for any answer ' its goona be helping me.
@sourceaudioeffects
@sourceaudioeffects 4 жыл бұрын
Cascade mode just means that the first reverb (Reverb A) runs into the second reverb (Reverb B). An simple way to think about it is to imagine if you had two reverb pedals on your board and you turned them both on and ran one into the other. In contrast if you're using the Ventris in Parallel Mode, both Reverb A and Reverb B are reacting independently to the same incoming dry signal, both of the wet signals are then mixed together for the final output signals. I hope this answers your question.
