I'm a grizzlies fan. We were the betting favorite per sportsbooks for the last couple of days. So I think you're right that they were closing in on a trade. At this point, perhaps the best option would be for Jimmy to sit the rest of the year (via suspension?) and open up more teams for him as destinations. He can pick up his option and the Heat would potentially get a valuable trade exception in return, which might be better than a package right now anyway.
