Could we take a moment to appreciate how loading screens are... non-existent??? I mean sure, they are some, very cleverly well hidden behind short cut-scenes, but it's still massively impressive. This game is a true masterpiece and I think it's a nice showcase of what a PS5 can do. I am just now playing this game since it got ported to PC and while I absolutely am loving the game, I dislike the fact that you can miss dialogues if you walk or progress whatever you're doing too quickly. I get FOMO and it drives me nuts unless I can find a way to re-do/re-watch it again so thank you for actually stopping during dialogues and for having subtitles on!

Yo, I'm so hyped after playing this. That ending was heavily implied that they're going to look for the other Lombaxes. Actually, I'm excited and nervous at the same time. A few reasons why: Excited reasons: 1. I've waited so freaking long for this moment. 2. I have a theory of my own that Ratchet's mother may still be alive. Maybe. 3. Both Rivet and Kit are coming too, and after this game, they're all-stars. Nervous reasons: 1. Maybe Tachyon escaped the dimension he was banished to, and he may return. 2. It may be the final chapter of the series. 3. Ratchet and Clank may have to say goodbye. I mean, if we go back to A Crack in Time, Clank specifically says, "Discovering my family has made me realize that, I cannot leave Ratchet. Not until he finds his own". So, now that Ratchet would be home at last, it would be like How to Train your Dragon 3, and Clank would return to the Great Clock. Anyway, I bet you all have similar thoughts.

Clank said that he himself is Ratchet's family. Ratchet went on a trip to find Clank. Even Clank tells Orvus, "I hope you understand." In addition to the fact that Ratchet himself said that the Lombax are not in danger.

Ratchet feels like such a classical guy in this game like, he embodies all the epic old memories from the old games very well, he also feels more mature. And Rivet is an amazing new addition! She feels like the start of so much cool new material. I am a huge fan of where this is all going. I would love to see sequels where Ratchet & Clank go on to find Ratchet's family and Rivet & Kit go on their own solo adventures! Exciting. Also not even a side-note that the sound design in this game is TOP NOTCH. There isn't a sound that isn't maximally gratifying, from smashing crates and collecting bolts, to blasting enemies. There's a lot to learn from Insomniac!

This is more of a personal taste thing but I love the fact that you kept both characters in their original skins. I think they both look much much better than with the alternative skins you get from golden bolts. The video quality and thoroughness of your playthrough is amazing as well; worth the watch!

I get Rivet was frustrated too at Ratchet for chewing her out, but if she understood what Ratchet went through because of Alister and also what he's had to do to keep the universe safe even at the cost of not finding the other Lombaxes, rather than lashing out at him in anger, maybe she wouldn't have been as harsh. Her fear of what happened with Kit may make sense, but Ratchet's does too. At least she was quick enough along with Ratchet to apologize for being so harsh just because she was upset.

I wonder if Nefarious will reluctantly become a hero after so many losses? All 4 One touched upon that idea, and he was visibly sad post-credits. If he was to make peace with his past and take responsibility for it (essentially what jungian Shadow work boils down to) he would eventually become a benevolent (and at last successful) figure in his dimension. A redemption arc would not be a bad idea. Then he can at long last attain the greatness he so desires, but without sabotaging himself in the process. And his happiness will last beyond that success. Also a great way to end it all.

Thanks for the full game play. At the story dev though, I'm pissed. This was not Ratchet and Clank. It was an overdrawn out story to ripoff Ratchet and Clank's original origin story for the female characters. And to add insult to injury, the near end of the game/story- Rivet insults Ratchet about his much more threatening fear. As if she already lost her own home world, had her own race betray her in a back stabling way and have the few of her kind that she has encountered also try to kill her within a very cynical universe while it is also in peril. That for me, struck one hell of a nerve. Everything in this game was supportive of her, even Ratchet and Clank were. She was the main character in the game that was called "Ratchet and Clank", even after the sellers said that she wouldn't be. She never had to deal with an ultimatum. Everyone besides Dr.Nefarious in her universe is childish and has zero mysticism about them. Aside from all that, her as a character sucks. She chose to preserve Clank's name as "Bolts" as some sort of bully after he corrected her and Quark being race washed to being black for no reason has zero significance. I mean for crying out loud, Quark isn't even human. Her back story about how she lost her arm seemed extremely forced since they were able to literally show to story during gameplay instead as some type of stupid picture book and last but not least, all of the weapons felt like they sucked. I look back at the other games and they still feature all of the game mechanics way better than any PS4 or Xbox one version mainly because you heavily depended on those very scarce mechanics to face your opponents. Sure, everything was less back then, but isn't less more? Hell, there's zero imagination left to this game anymore and you have zero ingenuity as the player. Ratchet looks like he's thrown back in his child years. Clank looks brand new as if he's been polished and replaced entirely- including his voice. The plentiful enemies are mainly robots that look like they were inspired by Japanese tech. The infobot became a cheap knock-off of a stupid recording which held zero importance to collect seeing that there was no point to revisit a different planet to locate a new planet to fly to. Every character seemed to play it off as if Ratchet being another Lombax held zero significance, almost like there was more than just Rivet. Hell, even Clank was absolutely useless during the "cinematic" portion where every time one of the Lombax fell to the ground, Clank could have soften the blow like he normally does during gameplay. The only good thing out of all this was the serious Dr.Nefarious and the new character who developed over time to remove a virus.
