You really should try Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal. It has been a life-saver in my family for the last two weeks. Mix 15 oz pumpkin puree, 3 c oats, 3/4 c brown sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice, 1 1/4 c milk, 2 eggs, 2 tbsp butter and 1 tsp vanilla (dry and wet ingredients first, then mix). Bake for 35 mins at 350 F. I usually bake the mix in a similar bread loaf pan as yours so I can cut the cake into granola bars for snack time. Or cut into cubes, put Greek yogurt and cinnamon on top and voilá! A fancy breakfast. Healthy, easy, yummy and sooo autumn-y. 🎃 Chef's kiss from Hungary. 😊

OMG, Thank you! I made this and my hubby and I LOVE it! I’m breastfeeding so I’ve been trying to get more oats in my diet, so this has really helped. I like to heat it up in the morning and add a splash of cream and a drizzle of maple syrup!

Sarah - your cookies are INSANE ! I never do this, but I tasted the batter and I immediately felt like it needed maple syrup (fellow Canadian here). Just wanted to let you know that the maple syrup (and your recipe, obvs) made these cookies amazing ❤ Honesty, both your cookie recipes here have made the fam real happy. Keep them coming !

Thank you for posting Sarah. Truly needed a calming video to take my mind off some of the horrible things that have happened in my state in the last few days. My community just went through the Lewiston, Maine shooting which is the worst mass shooting this year in the US. I appreciate you for your content and way to take my mind off of things for even a few minutes. Hold your loved ones close and pray for our community. We are really heartbroken right now.

So very sorry for the horrific time you went through! I used to go visit my grandmother in Lewiston across the street from the beach. There was an Indian tent next door and they sold beautiful items. Were you there then? I pray for those families who lost loved ones.

I love watching your videos! I also really appreciate your comment towards the end about how we don't need to always try to make food that's Insta-worthy art. That's such a good and important reminder! Your video is making me want to do some pumpkin-baking! (last time I checked the store, I couldn't find ANY pie pumpkins or pumpkin puree, so I'll have to check again). Currently, I'm just making lots of batches of super-simple peanut butter granola bars :)

Hey Sarah! Love you channel, you are so inspiring 😍 Just a tip to get your cake to not stick to the bottom of the pan - unlock the springform pan, lay parchment paper over the top of the base, place buttered ring on top, and lock it in! You can trim around the edge as well, works for me every time 😊

This was perfect timing! I open KZbin to go back and look at your video of where you made the sourdough cookies. I wanted to see the recipe so I can use it but transform them into pumpkin somehow. First video that pops up on my feed at the very top is this one “pumpkin edition” and viola there you are making these cookies into pumpkin ones!!! So excited, thank you! You’re recipes are amazing!

I have a lifehack for instant soft room temperature butter. What you have to do, is boil water and put it in a tall glass. Let it sit for a couple minutes until the glass is hot to touch. Then remove the water and put the glass over the stick of butter. Within 5 minutes you have soft room temperature butter 🧈❤

Might be a silly questions but when you say “I’m using discard” what’s the difference between that and the starter? Isn’t it what you take out? I’m a newbie at this ;)
@jellbells1011 Жыл бұрын
It’s unfed starter! So not active and bubbly. I store mine in a mason jar and use for anything that calls for “discard” instead of actually tossing when feeding the starter. Hope this helps!

Yay for pumpkin-themed baking! These look very easily changeable to vegan-friendly and I am so going to look for those "candy pumpkins"; color-GORGE!! That LOAF looks mouth-watering (sans glaze!). 🧡 Is Hiya third party tested/include iron? I'll take a looksy. :) I don't hear anyone "else's" voice... A recipe website?? YES PLEASE! 🥰👏 Where do you store your used parchment so bugs aren't attracted to it? Love the praises on just enjoying making yummy things for loved ones.

Thanks for the recipes. However - “3 and a quarter cup of sugar” is that 3/4 or 3 cups and a quarter? You phrase it this way each time and it doesn’t seem like the best phrasing.

2 1/3 cups of coconut oil????!!!!! Do you mean 2/3 cup? For the cookie recipe. Is that right? Has anyone else made the cookies? I want to, but I’m afraid that’s a mistake. I’ve never heard of using that much oil before.

I'm gluten, dairy and sugar free so it's hard for me to bake anything except waffles. I also like the idea of interval fasting and 3 meals a day without anything in between, and having cookies at hand makes it impossible. Love you homemaking though

Hi! I love your videos! Is there anyway you could write down the recipes? You may have had a reasoning behind it. As well as I know it takes extra work on your part. New recipe!! New home tour !! Etc but no word no statement about the ongoing genocide on women and children in Gaza!!! Where is your Christian faith to speak the truth and condemn this massacre ??? Or just Arab and Muslim children who re dying ??? Unbelievable such influencers keep their routine without a single word on ongoing genocide !!!😢
@Idzanami Жыл бұрын
So what, now every person who has a youtube channel that is popular should make a statement about condemning the genocide? Of course she is condemning it like every sane person, you don't even have to be a christian. Why do you make nasty assumptions that just because she doesn't speak against it she must not care about muslim children? That's very arrogant of you. Besides this is primarely a cooking channel not a political one. Have a good day.
@hnas84 Жыл бұрын
@@Idzanamiactually she is very pro Israel, she has had multiple stories defending them whereas not one word on the thousands of Palestinian children being slaughtered. And this is coming from someone who makes pro life videos and attends pro life galas-the irony. “Mamas and kiddos” only matter when they aren’t Palestinians.
@beabchill Жыл бұрын
Respectfully, this channel is not to touch on such topics. Of course we pray for the innocent lives and all those caught in such horrible circumstances but we trust and believe that when we pray to our HEAVENLY FATHER, HE hears our supplications and is faithful to HIS Word so please continue to pray versus attacking the body of CHRIST our MESSIAH 🙏🏼❤. I say it with love
