You Sir are a football purist. I slept after watching 1st half (never have watched any game from start to finish) as I saw the game could go either way as Morocco which is a stronger team (no doubt) was holding back, and that proved to be costly in the end. Game was for Morocco to lose, and likewise, the Senegal game against Ivory Coast. SA is by no means a strong team but were clinical with chances they got. One thing for sure, this chess game approach in football is causing teams who are with doubt world beaters look mediocre, because players do not hold the ball even when it most matters, and thereby not forcing their way with they abilities while always passing ball sideways and backward. I mean if there could be a statistic on how many complete forward passes against total passes in this Afcon, my hunch tells me it would be a very low number

Your football knowledge is negligible if not self hating ignoramus. As far as African football is concerned, Sundowns and Al Alhy are well known. Tau recently participated in the FIFA Club World Cup while Sundowns recently won AFL against a very Moroccan team, Wydad Casablanca. It would be an indictment for the technical team to know less than Infantino about their opponents. FYI, these two countries were in the same group during AFCON qualifiers and secured 2-1 home wins against each other. The 2-1 loss to Bafana was the last time Morocco lost an AFCON match till yesterday. Go watch English FA Cup replays and leave African football to people who love and respect it.
