South Africa - Mahathir meets De Klerk and Mandela

(30 Apr 1994) South African President F.W. de Klerk on Saturday (30/4) met Malaysia's Prime Minister Mohamed Mahathir in Pretoria.Also on Saturday, ANC leader Nelson Mandela, met Mahathir in Johanesburg.

Classic Tun, in 2022 many people and nations need reminding and was uttered by Mr Mandela's request. Malaysia gave MILLIONS to Mr Mandela and the ANC for their election expenditures. We in Malaysia are proud of this donations that NO other Nations on Earth had done. Shabas. Malaysians have preferential access to trade and investment in South Africa and Malaysia Airlines used to fly direct to Johannesburg. Sadly, Malaysia slumped into its own economic woes of late. Malaysian Investors, please make and effort and return to South Africa with own brand of excellence in trade and investments.
