I think most whites in South Africa wish they had the ability to bond with the black population the way Johnny Clegg did, imagine how amazing this country would be. RIP Johnny, you were an amazing human being, your music will continue to warm our hearts!

OBE JC ... South Africa's Musical Warrior & Treasure. Only a Handful of People in the World ever awarded this distinction. How Proud South Africans must feel when they see this. THE SPIRIT OF A GREAT HEART!

Wonderful human... his son & wife must be proud of what he has achieved throughout SA... a real peacemaker... unifying our different cultures... I'm reading his book - "Scatterling of Africa"... Fascinating stories of his beginnings with Sipho Mchunu who taught him all things Zulu... OBE - well deserved... r.i.p. Zulu le Blanc...

dan tafari, How so? He came to know more Zulu culture, song & dance than a lot of Zulu’s. He took the culture to the world. He’s very much THE white Zulu. RIP Johnny Clegg.
