In reality there is no such thing as stage 2 software, its just software. Stage 2 refers to a slightly larger set of upgrades to the powerhouse of the vehicle than Stage 1 accompanied by software automatically, if you have EFI these said stages can never be done without software.

Another on for the books Anton, unfortunately signal jammers is readily available and is used 80% in the neck of my bush, signal only started where it lay next to road. with a sting operation on foreigner shops end of last year we confiscated 3 jammers and arrested the owner.

I lived in South Africa for 12 years. I understand the challenges. But no matter what the value of the car or the number of offences the villain has already committed, this kind of car chase places far too many completely innocent bystanders at terrible risk of life changing injury or death. I cannot accept that a serious crash that takes out another road user is an acceptable risk, especially with the standard of healthcare available to the average person in South Africa these days. Serious car chase crashes involving innocent third-parties happen more regularly than you might think. I also don’t have an answer. South Africa is accelerating (excuse the pun) towards major civil unrest & anarchy at an alarming rate and there is absolutely nothing that the hopelessly corrupt government want to do, or can do, about it. Glad we left in 2002.
