It interesting to see how optimistic some of the officers were back then & how things have simply deteriorated.

Can you please explain your position. It sounds like mere speculation.

"One thing about the African has never bothered to imbibe a "Moral Authority" so shown to him by his White Follows. It is not being in any form, or forms of cohersion, bullying or insulting. But a Devotion and Veneration which is important for anyone's, physical, mental and spiritual progress ". And a respect for Life and the Reverence for it"... Dr Albert Schweitzer...

I grew up with soldiers in some townships especially in Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal but only today do I find out why they were there back then. I use to think cops were being killed for their firearms and stopped patrolling back then and soldiers were brought in whilst recruitment and training was happening for police. I remember seeing a few charred bodies of police from time to time. Anyways it's interesting hearing what else was going and at a different perspective of me thinking soldiers were harassing us always at 6pm for some evening curfew

This BS. "Action" bits are of the SADF busy with excercises at Luahatla battle school. MK merged with SADF and a very few white soldiers or officers remainded if any. At this training area we were preparing for a conventional war which would probably come from the Namibië side once. Bookings had to made to use the area. The Division I was allocated to usually went in October. Now the adverise the place for rent to other countries. Armscor who co-ordinated weapons manufacturing had their property attached because wages were not paid😂 The SA police force went the same route.

The armies legacy in the townships is one of terror, oppression and violence. This type of propaganda is only useful as an educational tool to highlight how effective it can be in corrupting the truth

If there were so much violence going on in the townships, why are 6 times more black people killed now than then? Do some homework before posting stupid comments.
