There were two performances on ON:E concert for this song and on the second night what he wore was more than Army could handle. This outfit for me was the warm-up and the second night he decided he was going to slaughter us.

This is a very personal song to Jk.. Btw, he is mentioned in Suchiwita that if hev a time machine he wanted to go back in Elementary School days to play, study english and etch.. Definitely he miss his school days..

I thought in the line "I can't call u, hold u..." he was referring to his past self when he was 13 but in the end he accepts what his life is wholeheartedly and is ready to see his "now" persona until he retires. But what u said also makes sense. Jungkook doesn't write many of his songs and that is totally fine but when he does it's extremely poetic like in still with you. 💜

Thank you for another thoughtful reaction. I can recommend a channel that has accurate lyric videos called "Dial 6137". "Bangtan Subs" may be another useful channel for you as well as "Enjoy BTS More" who is very thorough in collecting accurate subtitles, great video footage and insightful context. I found it interesting when you talked about having questionable people around you at a young age. Jungkook signed his BigHit contract and left home for good a couple of months before his 14th birthday (in global age...Korean aging system was different se when they talk about being an age, you can usually subtract 2 years from that). Bang Si-Hyuk (founder of BigHit) had to assure JK's parents that he would be well taken care of and surrounded by good people. JK has often said that the rest of the BTS members raised him and he is so grateful that they were all good people. He said he became a manifestation of all their personality traits. He also said on Suga's interview show called "Suchwita" that he felt he could have gone totally the other way if he had been around bad influences. (Suga assured him that he wouldn't have because he's such a good person at his core). I think too many young superstars are surrounded by Yes-men who don't want to rock the boat or upset the talent and we've seen many examples of how poorly that can turn out. @@bee12117 I don't know the full story of Supreme Boi (other than that he was a BigHit trainee and became a producer instead), but I was referring to what JK said on Suchwita (and other times) about the good people the other members are and how they helped him to become a good person too.

JK was only 13 when he joined the company, and very shy, not 15, he was 15 when they debuted. I think his song Begin is better than this and also about himself.
