I don’t see any reasons to throw hates on her for getting a solo for this album. She has that vocal, the talent, she is a singer, her passion is singing and I am not saying that Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa don’t have all of that in them, they do. Blackpink as a whole is talented as F, but I’m glad that the team saw this as an opportunity for Roseanne to showcase her capabilities more. I hope they’ll give more opportunities like this to the girls in the future. I’m so happy for them💕

I mean, I'm not complaining, Rosé's voice was really immaculate in this one but my only concern was yg didn't gave us the heads up. Most of us are pleasantly surprised for sure but for Sooyas, I can see why they're throwing hate :( its not right to blame Rosie tho because we didn't know how it came to be like this but I just hoped YG at least said something because for those who are waiting for Jisoo's solo, may find it really unfair :(

I was shocked on my first listen that this is a solo but I think Rose’s voice fits this well.. if I remember correctly, during Chaennie Weverse Live on their 6th anniversary, Jennie say #5 is her fave in the album. I think the Pinks really love this song but they feel Rose is the most fitting to sing this rather than 4 of them. Pinks do not care who shine more among them, whatever is better for their album and their fans, they will just do that even if it means no limelight for the others (they don’t need that lol) Love their friendship ❤️ p.s. To my understanding this is not a solo, She was the only one out of BLACKPINK that could convey this emotion the way it needs to be felt by the audience and she has done an awesome job. Big picture, yes, it stings that Rose got another solo before Jisoo -- and on the group album, nevertheless -- but once I heard the song, man, I don't care, this is a such a good song and Rose absolutely kills it.
