This music, concept and all was made BEFORE any of JK’s music. He wrote 2 albums at the same time and both were finished before Seven and Golden were debuted. The autotune is reminiscent of the 90s/early 2000, which is the vibe he was going for. Notice there’s no autotune in the 2nd half of the song. Watch the Mini Moni interview with RM and you’ll see he hasn’t got a girlfriend. He said he wrote this album as if he had a crush and even asked the youngest member of his band SMGB advice about it since he can’t remember how it feels to have a crush.
