It is a puma and they are native to the Everglades. They do occasionally wander into populated areas for food. That is a fact. This incident however, was a set up for the show.... if you watch, you can see the puma being quietly led away by a handler on a leash like a tame dog.

When he first worked at Fremont he was stealing contracts to start his own business with Larry. Then Larry fired him cause he helped Christie out when the power went out. Then it turned out when he was dating Christie he was married. After a while he was put in charge for a few days when Robby was suspended which he hired someone who was stashing cars. So christie was put in charge and he got pissed now that Bernice is his repo boss. She's doing what I would while I get the feast he gets the crumbs.
