Ovela @Music Game News - *Though South Border is the original who came out with "Kahit Kailan" back in 1996 with Jay Durias at the helm. The original main vocalist of South Border back then was, Brix Ferraris. When he left the band, he was replaced by Luke Mijares. And when he left, Duncan Ramos (in this video) filled his shoes. So yeah, South Border has had different vocalists. All of them adding their own flavor to the band. So in essence, both Luke Mijares and Duncan Ramos covered Brix Ferraris when they sing Kahit Kailan, which catapulted the band to great OPM Heights.*

The original version of this song was sang by Jay Durias and Brix Ferraris of SB.. It was during Brix Ferraris' time when SB become super popular. Their May Pag ibig pa kaya, Love of my life and cover of Time will reveal are my favorites too. My mom is a super fan of SB and so am i.. 💙

this is the SOUTH BORDER band singing their hit song KAHIT KAILAN. the lead vocalict on piano is JAY DURIAS. the second vocalist is DUNCAN RAMOS who is 20 at that time. he is the third vocalist of South Border after Brixx Feraris and Luke Mejares. Michael Pangilinan did a cover of their song RAINBOW with RYSSI AVILA.

Actually In recording the saxophone catches the falsetto perfectly. You couldn't even notice when falsetto ended and when saxophone comes in.

6:24 and 7:06 is when they panned the camera away from the "kid" and he did not step on the pedal but instead it transitioned into the saxophone. When I was listening to this long time ago, lol, i also thought that that whole falsetto thing is his voice which is OUT OF THIS WORLD then after listening to it million times realised it SMOOTHLY transitioned into SAXOPHONE

So the bridge actually goes, I swear forever, I will never leave you I swear forever, I will never forsake you I swear, forever "He looks young" He's the third lead vocalist by that point. The original was Brix Ferraris so there are people who basically talk about his falsetto in the same vein as the exhaust of a redlining Italian car.
