Man y'all NAILED it with this video. Yeah I am biased as a 2nd generation Gamecock, but I really agree with what was said. Increased depth at LB from the transfer portal is going to help on the back end by not having to bring DQ Smith or Emmanworri down into the nickel spot so they can concentrate on what they do best at safety. I think Dylan Stewart is gonna be a beast at edge by the end of the season - that guy is SO talented and quick (I have heard some ppl compare him to Clowney). The D line will be much improved and has serious experience and talent with Boogie Huntley, TJ Sanders, Gilber Edmund, and Tonka Hemingway (all of whom should make it to the NFL). The RB room is kind of stacked - yes there is Rocket Sanders (I just pray that he can get to 100% by the season opener), but we also have 2 transfer guys with a lot of talent and grit - Oscar Addaway and Jawarn Howell who both seem to be very capable which means we have DEPTH in that room which is super important. Last year the O line was TOTALLY decimated by injuries - we have some of those guys back plus several really talented freshmen like Josiah Thompson (5 star) and Kam Pringle (5 star). Not too shabby, but admittedly hard as first year SEC players... Now as for the WR room that is a bit of a question. We did get a number of guys from the portal - all pretty good quality players mostly from smaller schools. But we did get a guy who is 6-3 (I think) from a smaller school in Nevada that appears to have ball skills and that can run. If Nyck Harbor can get his route running nailed down and continue to work on the jugs machine - he has the natural ability to be a superstar, but I think that may be a year away due to his concentration on the Olympic track team, but I could be wrong on that (I would love to see him break out this year). Finally - the real deal is LaNorris Sellers. He went under the radar because he was injured in his Jr season in high school - otherwise he would have been a high 5 star coming out (take a look at his senior season stats - they are eye popping). Sellers is cool, calm and collected always, at 6-4 and 230+ he can run a 4.4 forty, and can throw it 70 yds with accuracy and has the touch to throw the shorter passes with ease. Mark my words - he will be a very special QB. I am cautiously optimistic about 2024 but really optimistic about 2025.... Sorry for the long post. GO COCKS !!!

Totally with you on the offensive line. If they can stay healthy and get some of those young guys to take a step in the right direction this team can be dangerous. But I think has gotta start upfront. Go Cock!

@ObamaisKenyan Thx Yes but we always have a “Tuff Schedule” Every Single Year 🤷♂️🤣 Yet… SCAR football will be Better in “2024”!!! 7-5 possibly 8-4✅ O-Line Running Game D-Fence Dual threat Qb Hopefully Sellers doesn’t make many “Rookie Mistakes”👍 After taking a purty good look at Our Schedule it’s Not as Daunting as one might think OK plays U-Texas The week before Us Mizzu plays OK the week before Us We have byes before Ole Miss and Texas A&M… LSU still has D Questions… Plus some offensive changes!!! Plus get all three in… Williams Brice!!! UK should be better… Yet UK has Ga The Week After Us!!! That’s a Really Need the W Game for a Tone Setter!!! Course there’s a couple others that could be the opposite or… Not so Tuff of an Opponent 🤷♂️ Bama has Vandy-Sorry Vandy but compared to Bama they have a Practice Game before SCAR… Which could make us the Same!!! They do have Ga before Vandy and UTjr after SCAR😊👍 Time to Get Some of these Unexpected W’s!!! Even more so in “2025”!!! Spurs Up☝️ GO SCAR ‘EM UP!!! 🏈🏆✅

Gotta Agree with You and Say it’s obvious You are Paying Attention to the Team!!! I’m thinking the Team will be a Good Bit Better this Season… Coach Beamer seems to have added players from the Portal in places of Need ✅ Think they picked up a Couple more WR’s that will help but that’s my biggest player concern too… I would like to see the halftime and in-game adjustments get better this Season… Hopefully the added Assistant Coaches will get that Better!!! Especially since 2/3 of those guys have been Head Coaches and wanted to be just Position Coaches!!! Spurs Up☝️ Go Gamecocks!!! 🏈🏆✅

I like your long post. It shows you're engaged and passionate. I agree with most of what you said. I think Dylan Stewart and Clowney are totally different athletes in terms of style. I believe Stewart can develop into a slightly faster player in terms of footspeed. I believe Clowney to be more powerful and disruptive creating turnovers with flailing arms. Stewart on the other hand will probably be more focused on making sure handed fundamental tackles. I haven't seen Stewart play a snap so I don't know. I am disgusted with guys coming in and sucking up the NIL money and not doing their job. I hope Nych is not one but I get bad vibes. I like guys that love this school and are all ball. Maybe they're not 5 stars but they're giving 100% . LaNorris not run a 4.4. Probably closer to a 4 .7 but he is a load.

You didn't see Stewart in the Spring Game??? He looked Really Good for a Fr!!! And I’m guessing you’re mostly referring to Juice… I usually wish these Youngsters the Best when they leave (For the most part anyways) but idk about that with Him!!! Seems obvious what he left for 💰 Not sure about Harbor… Seems Track is His biggest Concern and hopefully he gets Better at Wr Fast!!! Like this Season 🤣 Think Sellers is Gonna Be a Really Good Quarterback!!! Guess time will Tell 👍 Spurs Up☝️ Go Gamecocks!!! 🏈🏆✅

Great video guys. Definitely can tell yall did some homework on the gamecocks. There are a lot of solid pieces on this team and having Sellers at QB will help take some pressure off the oline since he can take off. Worried about the WR room. The defense as a whole should take another step and look forward to seeing if we run more of the 3-3 defense from last year.

I pull for Auburn, but Ive always had a place in my heart for the Gamecocks. I think it's because of the mystery as to why you guys haven't had any more success--historically--than you've had. It certainly puzzles me. You guys have everything but the wins. It's weird. Ive said before that I see Gamecocks football as a sleeping monster in the SEC. I thinks it's a matter of time before you get a coach that's going to put that program on another tier.....or I certainly hope it happens. Like I said, I'm an Auburn fan, but the second program I keep up with has always been the South Carolina Gamecocks. Even though I have my reservations about Shane Beamer as an SEC head coach, I hope he is THAT coach that puts you guys up on a higher tier. It's where the Gamecocks should be, and it's always puzzled me as to why they arent there. That program should be, like Auburn, where when it comes to winning titles people might not pick you, but nobody is surprised when you do.

We've had moments to take giant leaps. Oldest I remember through my grandparents as I was a toddler, 1984 we had undefeated season going. We lay an egg in Annapolis vs Navy. If we don't lose that game instead of losing to Oklahoma State in the Gator Bowl, we're playing for the national title in the Orange Bowl vs Washington probably. Win that and even with the steroids scandal the program rises and maybe Coach Morrison doesn't pass away. 2010, played our way to the SEC title game even had a chance at beating you guys earlier in the season. Get run through in SECCG and then lose to FSU. 2012 was so close....we had just trounced UGA at home 35-7 and we were headed to Death Valley to face LSU. End up losing to LSU and following up with a upset loss to Florida in the Swamp. Beat LSU and I think we probably beat Florida and we're in the BCS title game at 12-0. 2013..we'd lost to UGA early in Athens, but still had a shot at SECCG and possibly a national title if we beat Tennessee. We lose after giving up a long pass that sets up a field goal. Younger Gamecock fans claim that would have definitely been a national title and the biggest blunder in program history. Older fans still think 1984. We've had multiple shots to ascend to the top of college football and probably build a championship level program, but every time we get to that last step we stumble. We're a long suffering fan base with a rival similar to you guys (Clemson/Alabama). I sat through 1-10 to 0-11 to finally beating New Mexico State back in 2000. The 90s were ugly outside of joining the SEC, Tanneyhill, and the Carquest Bowl win. I enjoyed just touching the top under Spurrier. If Beamer or another coach brings a national title or the SEC title to Columbia the women's basketball and baseball parades will look like small town parades in comparison. We love our other teams, but like every SEC school, we're a football school.

@@davidfence6939 Yea, there are always those games where something simply inexplicable happens and you lose to a team that you probably have no business losing to, and then that loss somehow runs the trains off the rails. I know that's true with SCAR because I've seen it many, many times. But that's just it, isn't it? The tiered programs would have similar tales of bad losses and inexplicable turnouts, but even in bad/mediocre seasons they've figured out how to both steal the hard victory, and/or put the hard loss out of thier mindset. They put each game into a bubble. Like Auburn last year, we get beaten by New Mexico State (not upset; New Mexico State was a better team, and they blew us out BADLY inside Jordan-Hare. No excuses) but then, the very next game Alabama plays us and has to have an ACTUAL miracle (unlike our kick six lol) with that 4th and half-a-mile lollipop for a game ending, game winning touchdown. What I'm saying is Auburn wasnt a great team last year. But they have always been a team that can forget and move past a bad loss. On average, Auburn is around the 12th greatest FBS program in history, depending on what ranking you use, so I'm not sure that qualifies as "great", but that's kind of the difference I see in SCAR, and maybe an Auburn. Id like to see SCAR get to a point where they can really disrupt the conference for a prolonged, sustained period. And I want them to get more of that gritty mentality where they can go out and get beat on the stat sheet for four quarters, yet will themselves to steal a hard win. Maybe I've just missed it, but that's what I think SCAR needs. I don't think I've seen them win the 13-10 games consistently. (13-10's, and 16-13's actually do still happen, amazingly lol).

Great job guys, Nicks last name is Emmanwori (Eman-Warry).. as close as I can get for a phonetic spelling and he along with DQ Smith will do well I believe, they had some depth issues that manifested after some injuries and after supplementing with solid character and physical individuals this team has the chess pieces to clear a path to playoff contention imho, Sellers has the mental and physical ability to surpass peak Cam Newton, USC will be fun to watch in ‘24🏆

HOW THE HELL IS NYCH GONNA HELP IF HE'S NOT PLAYING FOOTBALL. HE'S SUCKING UP NIL DOLLARS AND RUNNING TRACK ? MAYBE HE STEPS ON THE FIELD A TIME OR TWO AND MAKES A PLAY OR TWO. I DON'T SEE ANY LOYALTY TO THIS PROGRAM AND I BELIEVE HE'LL SPEND ANOTHER YEAR AND TRANSFER OUT AFTER SUCKING EVERY DOLLAR HE CAN OUT OF THE PROGRAM. HE KNOWS LITTLE ROUTE RUNNING CAUSE HE DOESN'T PARTICIPATE WITH THIS TEAM. I'M TIRED OF THE HORSESHIT AND I WILL NOT CONTRIBUTE MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
