South Coast Motorboating 2 Newhaven Harbour to Portsmouth, Port Solent

This time my boating trip starts in Newhaven Harbour and my destination is Port Solent Marina.
It was one of the most beautiful weekends of the year with perfect boating conditions.

Good video ,top tip on always fuelling up when available took me 50 mins on a trip from Christchurch to swanwick once and a quarter tank of fuel ….took me 4hrs on the way back as caught in weather and a full tank of fuel was so glad I topped up the extra quarter tank before leaving swanwick !

Good video, could have been far better without the awful music, replacing it with more commentary. Speed limit in the harbour starts at small boat channel, 4bar buoy, calling point for the lock is pile 78. The marina and outer waiting pontoon are clearly marked on the chart, pilotage plan would have solved all your uncertainties.

What size boat is this? Lovely conditions! Mine is a 20ft Sea Ray but it does struggle in the solent
