It will mostly be single track to start but everything is being built so it can easily be double tracked as service requires it.

@@RoamingRailfan The double track you speak of seems to be a new track being built alongside an existing old one. I haven't seen any new double track being built from scratch (both ways).

Kyoto Gardens is undergoing rebuilding right now and so is 45th Street. I do DoorDash in Palm Beach Gardens and live in Gramcery Park so I get to see this on a daily basis. It’s really coming along. Not looking forward to the day they shut down Northlake for 2 weeks for that rebuild.

Is it FEC’s plan to operate freight over both tracks, where the second track is now activated, but prior to the start of Brightline service north of West Palm?

FEC will operate on both tracks as they are put into service. Once Brightline starts service to Orlando, FEC and Brightline will share both tracks.
