But this one is entirely different. And itz not over feeding as you said. Many of the legendary eateries in Bangalore like MTR, Upahara Darshini etc still serve food on Banana leaf, many countless small eateries also use Banana leaf, there is also a wide culture of eating food on another type of leaf called as Pathravali, example SG Rao Military hotel Bangalore, Hanumanthu Palao in Mysore etc(is called by different names in different parts of Karnataka).

Thing is, when you prepare sadya you need to be more cautious than anything, biriyani may works great even if we had minor flaws.
