But this one is entirely different. And itz not over feeding as you said. Usually everyone is served with very little quantities of each items; but nutritional wise and medicinal value wise it is so rich as evidenced by North and people abroad.

Many of the legendary eateries in Bangalore like MTR, Upahara Darshini etc still serve food on Banana leaf, many countless small eateries also use Banana leaf, there is also a wide culture of eating food on another type of leaf called as Pathravali, example SG Rao Military hotel Bangalore, Hanumanthu Palao in Mysore etc(is called by different names in different parts of Karnataka).
