The truth of martial law is hardly known outside of Korea, so I tell you the real story. It may sound strange, but this martial law was a legal act guaranteed by the Korean Constitution. According to the Korean Constitution, martial law should be initiated through a Cabinet meeting, and the end of martial law is subject to the decision of the National Assembly. At the Cabinet meeting, most members of the State Council opposed the start of martial law, but martial law began. The reason is that the legitimacy of the initiation of martial law is not the result of the cabinet meeting, but the fact that the cabinet meeting was held. I watched a Blinken commenting in this issue on VOA, I am guessing Blinken is speaking for Biden, he said the martial law was inappropriate but not unconstitutional according to South Korean law. Blinken also mentioned that a president cannot start a rebellion and causes for impeachment is not constitutional either. The causes of impeachment that were mentioned were president; 1. is given to shamanism, 2. had friendly foreign policy toward Japan while opposing North Korea, China and Russia, 3. has declared martial law to start a rebellion. The president Yoon has declared his administration was impeached 29 times in last two years. Mostly for improving alliance with America and Japan, and for investigating National Election Commitee. Of the 29 impeachment by super majority opposition parties were two defense ministers, auditor general, intelligence chief, police chief, attorney general, president himself, and acting president who replaced the president.

The warrant was issued to agency that has no authority to investigate a rebellion, which is what SK president is charged with. And the warrant is issued by the discount that has no jurisdiction over president. The anti corruption agency was questioned by the warrant Judge in central district to be the wrong investigative agency to carry out arrest the president, so the anti corruption agency went warrant shopping on the left leaning pro-China judge district. The office of presidential guard has declared they do not recognize anti-corruption agency as the lawful agency for impeachment when impeachment trial hasn't even begun. The president is guarded by special forces and presidential guards. The presidential compound is surrounded by more than ten thousand citizens supporting president and the citizens are separated by 3000 police to keep a thousand or so anti-president protesters away from pro- president citizens.
