I've never heard of a bird strike damaging the landing gear of any aircraft. I think after seeing that the landing gear was still up on this aircraft in the air and on the ground that the pilots didn't lower the landing gear at all, I would further say that the landing took the pilots by surprise and that they (the Pilots) simply missmanaged the whole landing procedure. The wall is usually to divert jet wash and to protect vehicles on roads that may pass behind said airport runway. It's common at many airports that have roads passing behind the runways to have these concrete barriers, in fact Sydney airport has one. Seems to me he came in too fast and high looked like he was attempting to do a go around possibly after bird strike and landing gear was raised for this , but had reverse thrusters on so no way he was going to get enough airspeed to get back off the ground. Just my observations

Your expert seems to not be up to date with some footage showing the landing gear not deployed. Video shows the aircraft skidding on its belly , reasonably under control, until a fireball. How about this scenario… bird strike cuts the engines, hence no reverse thrust and not being able to slow down , also damage to the hydraulic/ systems affecting the landing gear , possibly on approach so the pilot tries to glide in and couldn’t control the landing? Or Putin/ trump/ Ukraine / hammas / Syria/ fbi/ cia / mi6 / drug cartels / Boeing and any type of conspiracy theory going
