It's ignoront and privileged. to compare South Koreo's situotion to the U.S. so cosuolly. The processes for dealing with unfit leoders differ due to unique legol ond historicol contexts. Oversimplifying complex issues like mortial low and impeochment shows o lack of understonding of the struggles other countries foce. Not everything revolves around America.

The People's power triumph over fascist leader
@antoniussamuelson37489 сағат бұрын
if he is fascist leader, he would already turned the country into dictatorship and put millitary generals into higher position in the government. like what happen to latin american countries in 1970's (for example, bolivia, peru, argentine, chile, paraguay, brazil, el salvador, guatemala, nicaragua, panama and mexico) which at the time was ruled by anti communist millitary dictatorship. but we don't see that happen in south korea. because south korea still democratic, which freedom of speech still exist, election exist and millitary stay out from politics. even the coup itself can be cancelled by a vote in national assembly. this proved that yoon suk yeol isn't fascist leader like latin american countries in the 70's. if he was facist, he would already change the system so that martial law can't be cancelled. but eventually he didn't try to thcnage the system and obeyed the national assembly decision to lift martial law.

If the US wanted this, we would have pulled it off much smoother than this fiasco. We have the right experience for this kind of nasty work. Unfortunately! I think your leader thought he had some part of the military in his pocket, and when the time came for action, that support evaporated. He didn't have the political experience or allies to pull it off. Somewhat similar to Jan 6th, 2021 in the U.S. Biden wouldn't have any reason to encourage this now, but Trump might...
