I have relatives in this cemetery, hope their headstones haven't been moved! One of the plaques in the parish church was dated 1728. Wow!! Thanks for another peaceful walkabout Mr Boots. Deb of Oz.

Thanks for this video. I used to live near South Molton. I do hope you vist a place near here called Molland, it has a very old church. Keep up the great work.

Great video. Maybe a little torch to light up some dark corners of the church on your travels .❤

It seems a terrible shame that many of the headstones were removed or relocated. I am sure many of these people never dreamed that once buried they would randomly become insignificant enough that their headstones would be removed and scattered elsewhere for the convenience of a lawnmower or a weed whacker. Very disrespectful I believe. Here we go again at the randomness of one's life being more important than another. Why bother with the whole process?

Very beautiful church, but in the cemetery I'm afraid when they move all those stones they'll end up in the future losing the exact location of those graves. I guess it really doesn't matter

Cont. I accidentally pushed send. I was going to add that I guessed it really didn't matter that much due to the dates being so old, but descendants might want to see the graves of their ancestors. They'll just be looking at a piece of grass and it might not be quite the correct place.
