Just a little tip about ice in a bait bucket. Put in a baggy, especially for saltwater bait.

Clifford Goehring that is a good suggestion. I had a few people tell me the exact same thing after they watched the video. I appreciate the feedback since I’m still learning.

Loved your series of videos, I have been convincing my husband to go to east cut for the past four years, hopefully after seeing your videos he will get inspired to visit. Tight lines.

Red Lady Fish Thank you for your support! I’m currently working on part 2 and will show the exact spot you’ll need to cross safely. I was doing research before and noticed there really were no videos highlighting the east cut. I want to shed light on this beautiful area. I also want to talk about the terrible trash situation and the importance of self policing.

I agree, such a beautiful area but people are irresponsible by thrashing it . I guess people don’t understand how lucky we are to have such pristine area to camp and fish. I have a you tube channel as well, and if I make it to east cut I will make sure to send the message about keeping the health of our natural resources. Thanks for spreading the message!👍

@@CoastalGX awesome and thank you. I never got to check it out due to the circumstances but now that beaches are open I'm heading to east cut tomorrow and I'll see if I can find it. Hopefully I can find that little spot where he was nailing all those mullet. Lol

Well we found the spot. No luck on the mullet there. But we did get some at the east cut jetties. Ended up with 2 giant bull reds and 5 slot reds. Awesome day.

Ive gone through a bunch of nets so I keep all the rope from them. I usually blood knot a second line to my net so I can throw it farther. It really helps when ur throwing from spots like that. Where is that spot?? I usually go to a spot between a couple of condos there at the beach. There's no sign saying u can't throw there so usually get mullet there
@CoastalGX4 жыл бұрын
That spot is hidden off highway 100. It's not a secret spot though. It's off the road after you pass Los Fresnos.

@@CoastalGX nice. Hey do you ever go freshwater fishing??? Fishing for gar is pretty fun. I love saltwater fishing but fishing for gar is a little harder. I tried for about 6 years before I caught a little one haha like I said I'm not really a good fisher just really good at catching bait haha

Not much of a secret. It’s that dirt road on the curve after you pass los fresnos. Kinda hidden.
