On the topic of sports teams with "offensive" names, there is a sports team in one of the Indian reservations named "The Fighting White Guys." Their mascot wears a suit and carries a briefcase.

Jimbo and ned are underrated, don't get enough credit for how well they help us understand the south park meta..

I liked this reaction, lots of points I myself think a bit. Such as Chef being racist himself and Cartman not caring what the actual debate is about, and recognizing that the people of South Park are quite insane and not to expect them to act or think like our reality.

I think there are a lot of points in this episode about debates and racism but I think chef being racist was clearly a joke since he's obviously not actually racist lol

The mayor of South Park has had blue hair since before the stereotype. She an OG

The swastika was a symbol of peace, a symbol of luck for early aviators, and quite literally a holy symbol for Jainism and Hinduism alike. The Nazis just happened to pervert it into something demonic and evil despite all of these points. As well as tilting it 45* on its axis to differentiate it. Where I grew up there was an Indian family that had a beautiful home with colorfully painted ceramic swastikas leading up to their door. People were very confused by this due to a lack of knowledge, lmao 😂

The Mayor's Blue hair is Gray old woman hair, not feminist blue hair.

I don't think that's the case, look at other old people in South Park, they all have gray-gray hair The mayor doesn't even sound old

@@Tolye lol well trust me, she isn't a blue haired feminist, pure politician. just wait till you see her in the hippie episode xD P.S. you saw the Christopher Reeves episode... gotta know how she has all that energy as an old politician... look at how wide her mouth is shes been draining the souls of children for decades

@@Tolye, you know how old politicians have this sparkling-white-grey haur instead of grey-grey hair? Like Yeltsin, for example. Or Mr. Clinton. If you overuse Yeltsin's hair paste, you get Mayor's hair color :)

SP creators are visual artists tho and they know that light green hair implies her hair is dyed and would make viewers wonder why. Also, the mayor has had sex with mult men, including Chef. And in Post Covid her hair has turned white with age.

Hey, I'd like to recommend season 18 episode 5 "Safe Space", all the reactors are recommended the same few episodes, so something fresh would be nice, I don't think I've seen anyone on youtube reacting to it yet and it's amazing episode ;)

this episode was the reason (wendy breaking up with him)cartman becomes a full psycho and goes after wendy. if you notice in later seasons whenever wendy tries to read her book reports to the class cartman makes fun of her. breast cancer show is the best example. then he tried to remove wendy from the school president position in the episode dances with smurfs.

I've watched every reaction to this episode on youtube and yours is the most sensible by far. This tells me that 1) you have really great parents and 2) your home country's primary school curriculum has some semblance of common sense.

I think choosing to keep symbols like that is an action, and theres no good argument for keeping them around. I dont think anybody should be forced by law to stop displaying symbols, but it is definitely indicative of the beliefs they hold and by extent, the actions they may take. So when it comes to a community, probably best not to have those types of symbols.

I understand the pont you make on action, but the flag might also normalize harmful actions
@Tolye
@Tolye Жыл бұрын
well, the thing is that you cannot verify or quantify normalization of harmful actions. A person can literally be incited to violence or aggression by anything. Most of the times it's about inner proclivities and not external factors. But thank you for your comment! :)

Our Tax dollars are spent by the government literally blowing up countries and other races. A flag is a flag. People are angry because theyre repressed.
@kyoai
@kyoai Жыл бұрын
"the flag might also normalize harmful actions" don't take a cartoon too seriously, it should be obvious to any sane and rational person that it's just about having fun. And while I don't want you to be too offended, there is nothing wrong with criticizing or parodying a "harmful action". There is nothing wrong with satire or criticism, because even something as a "harmful action" can be taken or interpreted to the unreasonable extreme.
