I don't really know much about south park, but what I do know is that Kenny (the kid that looks kinda like Tommy in the orange jacket for anyone who doesn't know who Kenny is) is a character that is in a kind of time loop thing, he dies in a brutal way and basically no one cares that it happened, only to be alive and "Well" the next time he's shown and nobody even remembers he died at all, than again they have shown time and time again they don't care; So think of it this way Kenny finds a way to brake the loop and can finally live and actually die like a human being is supposed to, only to relive the truma of being forced to be alive after death years later at the hands of his abuser P.s. I could be wrong fell free to correct me, but I believe Kenny's family is abusive and/or neglectful toward him, so he would also be further hurt by Wilbur's manipulation, Techno's "betrayal" (I believe that they "betrayed" each other and it wouldn't have been as bad if they talked to each other properly, purely miscommunication) and dreams abuse + tubbo, niki, jack, & anyone else who Tommy might have thought of as family would further worsen old wounds.
