Fighting Stan in a significant role makes sense. In the last few games we've had major fights with Kyle, Cartman and even Kenny being the surprise final boss of Stick of Truth. But Stan was always between middle ground and ally with The New Kid.

This game hopefully has good writers working on it, because the comedy is the main reason I liked the first SoT, wouldn't have played it otherwise.
