If you watch the full episode, it's actually a pretty sympathetic take on Michael Jackson, while still parodying the hell out of him in classic South Park fashion. When South Park is at it's best, it's usually looking at people and issues from multiple points of view.

South Park is legit my favorite TV series. I love how brutal it is, how it forces us to confront our own prejudice. That and it's fucking funny as fuck. The best episodes (each about 23 minutes), I think, include Child Abduction Is Not Funny, Tsst, Trapped In the Closet, The Losing Edge, Casa Bonita, Scott Tenorman Must Die (no spoilers on this! Watch it now!), Sarcastaball, Game of Thrones Trilogy (Black Friday, A Song of Ass and Fire, Titties and Dragons), Go Fund Yourself, and Pinewood Derby. Actually, I've watched every episode and haven't found one that hasn't made me laugh at least once. That and their South Park movie, "Bigger, Longer and Uncut" (Oscar-nominated for Best Song- "Blame Canada") and "Team America: World Police" are awesome.

I'm not sure if it changed over the years, because I got older and stopped watching it as often. But the best thing about South Park was that they never backed down when it came to jokes. Either everything is okay to joke about or nothing is okay.
