The Italian bread envied around the nation. Anyone growing up in an Italian family here remembers Sunday dinner: still a ritual for many. I miss them at my grandparents: pasta, meatballs, sausage and braggiolle (sp?), crisp crust (better yet, somewhat crunchy when you went to the right bakery) - Lanci's for us back then - and salad served LAST! Frank's Ginger Ale for the kids and a lot of wine for everyone else. I'd give almost anything to experience these again, especially with the family that have passed on.. If you're still living the life and enjoy these dinners, appreciate every second! And support your local Baker whose bread helps make those meals.
