Congratulations on putting together a bloody great doco on a terrific rivalry. I've been a Easts supporter since '74 & was on the Bunnies side through the whole debacle that saw a foundation club axed from the competition, where there were better options among the newer clubs in my opinion. Even though I'm a Chookie supporter through & through, I had to laugh at that last statement 😆

Roosters supporter but I didn't grow up with the rivalry. I actually like and respect Souths a lot. Met many great supporters from their club.

One interesting thing I have noticed about Souths and Easts supporters is, I know tonnes of Souths fans from the South Sydney area. I have never met anyone from the Eastern Suburbs who is an Easts fan, they are from Blacktown, Penrith, anywhere but Easts territory.

@@HoldenStraya1 There are "rooster" teams all over though, there is even one in Atherton, North Queensland. There are a couple of Bunny ones as well e.g. Umina Bunnies. I used to go out with a lass from Taree and most of the people in that town I knew supported Souths or Parramatta.

AS a Roosters fan, I hated when Wingy went back to Souths. But he is a lovely bloke, a class player and he did give everything for the Tri Colours. I remember having an argument with another Roosters fan at a game because he was bad mouthing Craig, and we both got chucked out. Went to the pub with him and had a few sherberts. I'm in the UK now and miss the Souths v Chooks games.

Souths is the most successful club in the history of the NRL. It is a fact and you cannot argue against that. When Roosters overtake Souths to win the most premierships, then they have the right to gloat but until then, suck it up. If you are a Roosters supporter, that's your problem and business. Look I really don’t doubt this rivalry at all...it’s fantastic but Rugby Leagues best rivalry is Leeds vs Bradford. No rivalry bar Saints vs Wigan and this one is half the rivalry this one was. Just shame what happened to Bradford last few years with the club. Hopefully they’ll be roaring back up soon.

Souths were successful and won 21 of their premierships when there was hardly any competition. There was not 16 other teams in the comp, more like 6 to 10 and most of their premierships were prior to the 60's, a very very long time ago. In the modern era 70's onwards they have won 2 premierships, hardly what I call successful and even though competitive in the modern era they still lack the tools to win THE PREMIERSHIP. Maybe in the future that will change but you cannot say Souths have had more success than the Roosters because they have 21 premierships that mostly were when there was little competition. There were 10 teams in the 50's, 8 teams in the 30's, now its doubled since the 70's 80's 90's
