I shot my first buck last year he was 7 point, 16 inch spread, I've been hunting the property since I was kid, the problem was the doe to buck ration was 11 to 1, so I grew up without knowing how a buck deer taste. So in my freezer I mark my packages with the letter M, so I know which ones to marinate.

I killed a buck called trash can. He had a wide five on one side and a messed up 3 on the other. He was on cameras at one location. And my papa saw him there. But on the last day last year at last light he walked out of a pea patch into a big field at a different location about ten miles from the trail cam and I dropped him. He weighed 195 pounds.

While I am an avid hunter and I would surely not dissuade anyone from shooting deer any way they choose, it seems like there is not much sport in the way these guy's hunt. I realize they are wealthy men with busy careers, but shooting hand fed farm deer from houses on stilts just seems a bit unsporting. Part of the allure of hunting is the time spent in the woods scouting the animals, and getting up close for a clean kill with a bow is just about as exciting as it gets. While I am jealous of the huge deer these fellows kill, I would much rather stalk a doe with my bow in the forest, than gun down farmed deer over a corn pile any day. I do like the videos though, keep up the good work.

IDK i think they get more people into hunting. which is a very good thing. really busy people but still want to get out there and pull the trigger on a big whitetail. That's ok in my book. I mean yes if they only did this type of hunting there's no way they could call themselves a "hunter". I enjoy hunting and clearing my mind in the wilderness. That doesn't mean I want to do it caveman style everytime.
