Thank you for your encouragement! :D Castro Verde lies in the centre of Lower Alentejo, an area of hills and meadows. From the viewpoint behind the Basilica, where we end our video, we can see the surroundings, and, far away to the East, we can see the mountains nearer the border. If one looks south the Monchique mountain range, located in the Algarve, can sometimes be seen over the horizon.

É uma cidade muito bonita, com planícies em redor até ao horizonte. Gosto sempre muito de visitar, especialmente no final do verão, quando há a feira anual! 😁

podiam pintar as paredes;uma vila de turistas onde as imagnes sao o corpo de venda desta vila onde podia ter mais brio e aceio.

Por acaso eu tenho a impressão de que recentemente tem havido algumas melhorias por toda a vila, tanto nos edifícios públicos como privados. Esperemos que se vá reforçando o ciclo virtuoso de crescimento do turismo e mais investimento na vila, o que é provável com a popularidade que a N2 tem vindo a ganhar
