South-West Roadtrip - Cornwall: Boscastle, Pentargon Waterfall, Pentire Point & Polzeath

Our second to last day in the south west saw us visiting the quaint and quintessential English village of Boscastle that I had visited as a child and had very odd memories of. We explored the harbor and the Museum of Witchcraft before heading to Pentargon Waterfall and then on to Pentire Point National Trust and Polzeath Beach. From there we found a lovely park-up for the night and proceeded to burn a cheese and chutney toastie.

Hope Cody is doing ok. That was a really great video - loved the dramatic coastline, the witch museum and the dog/goat climbing the cliffs !

Yeah, still managing. I still have so much of the SW to explore. This was as far west as we managed this time as we just found so much to do

I was out in April down here in Somerset and it was still quite cold - hot water bottle weather at night. Bless Kodi 💜He's keeping going but you can see he is struggling at times though he still wants to enjoy himself. Lovely places you visited and on my to visit list (out of peak season!)

Cody's doing okay...he still wants to go so badly; and as long as he does, I'll keep taking him. But we never do more than he's capable of; I do miss the long-distance hiking though.

The witchcraft museum is 100% on my to do list, as a ginger I can tell you peoples attitudes to the hair colour haven't changed much since then. Some beaches ban dogs from May to Sept, my local beach does at one end but the other end they are allowed all year round.

Hey love your videos , regarding kodie, he will tell you and you will know when the times right, I lost a 10 year old collie x that was never right after a cruciate ligament op , heart broken didn't come close, I also have a 14 year old terrier x collie, and still fit as a flea , and a 5 year old collie x kelpie, both compete in agilty, even the 14 year old, I camp at shows all year but like you, I love wild camping in woodland car parks with good walks, I'm in auffolk so be great to catch up if you're ever back this way

Thank you. Cody is still enjoying life so as long as he is, I'll give him the best life he can get. He will let me know when the time comes. Kye, at almost-13yo is still capable of so much and she'll go and go and go. My sister has a kelpie and a new Kelpie puppy coming soon.

Before the 1600s the church didn't even believe in the existence of witches. Not really sure what changed that
