A Southampton fan watching his side play Inter Milan almost lost his life outside the San Siro.
Neil Mantell described the moment his father suffered a cardiac arrest outside the stadium:
"The odds were absolutely stacked against him, he shouldn't have come out of the San Siro alive."
Neil's father suddenly fell to the ground whilst walking up the steps of the stadium.
Dani Ray, a paramedic, had travelled to Italy to support Southampton and quickly reacted to the situation.
"She got to work on him straight away and got his circulation going," said Neil.
The Southampton supporter was taken to hospital after Inter Milan's staff stepped in.
"They thought that he'd have brain damage and he's made a full recovery."
Neil wanted to thank both Southampton and Inter Milan, as well as the supporters and staff involved.
