The thing is saints have been lucky to have played Leeds when we were out of form and early in the season we were still putting our team together They've not played the real Leeds United. If we play like we did last night we'll beat Southampton but it wont be easy they're a good team .I feared West Brom more then Saints because Leeds need space to play in and West Brom would have denied us the space plus we have a lot of bad history with them Ray Tinkler 71 relegated 82 etc etc

I'd rather play West Brom in the final because they're not as good as Southampton. It's a hard game to call, you can make arguments either way, but if I was forced to have a bet I would reluctantly back Southampton. Norwich were easy meat and I worry about the resolve of some of our players when they meet real opposition.

Yes, Leeds had a bad off day at Southampton, but the game at Leeds tells you nothing. There was nothing to play for and players wanted to avoid injury. We would’ve finished third no matter the result. Against Norwich the mojo was back and Leeds will be totally up for it. We beat Leicester and Ipswich home and away, we’re more than capable of blowing Southampton away provided we show up on the day.

@@BlueSunKZbin it’s true. Southampton honours list : FA Cup 1976 and…..Matt Le Tissier. That’s it. You’ve had some household name players who put in 100+ appearances over the years (Martin Chivers, Mick Channon, Peter Shilton and Alan Shearer, to name probably the four biggest), but have won nothing apart fron that 1976 FA Cup. So, yeah, Leeds is a much bigger club with a much more illustrious history.

I know Leeds are a big club, with an increcible fan base too. Cant deny that. I consider both Southampton and Leeds as Premier League level clubs. I would dissagree Leeds "is a Much Bigger Club" though, as finances, ticket sales and such are pretty similar. If you look in the past 50 years, in our lifetime, Southampton have been in the top teir of English football for the majority of that time. I feel thats a good merit for them being considered a team that's Premier League level, not "Championship at Best". That was why I was laughing, feel free to try and prove me wrong. As for the second point that every club in the premier league wants leeds to go up..."ask the other fans about that"
