"Finding questions and justice for the victim, for the families, for the person that lost his life" - what does that mean when the motorcyclist was speeding and his own actions led to his own death? I would think the truck driver is a victim of the motorcyclist, he now has to live knowing his job led to a situation where a reckless motorcycle driver was killed by his truck. The truck driver may forever second guess his skills and how to always remain safe. This is tragic, but lets keeps the rhetoric accurate about who is a "victim" and who then is the implied victimizer.

I live near the accident and deduced what might have happened. The motorcycle skid marks are only about 8-10 feet before impact and were in the far right lane... There were no obvious skid marks from the Jeep, which was ahead of the motorcycle. I believe the Jeep didn't see the motorcycle and cut him off, or break checked the motorcyclist. There is no way of knowing this was caused by the motorcyclists speeding, and the police just want to close the case and move on frome the incedent. I feel sorry for the motorcyclist because I do not believe he was speeding, yet they just swept the blame under the motorcyclist because he can't refute the claim. Why would the motorcyclist be in the far right lane if he wanted to speed at 4 am. with virtually no cars on the road? The far right lane is the worst lane to speed because of exits and mergers on to the freeway. The motorcyclist was 40, and I believe he had enough driving experience to know this. Just my opinion. 🤷🏻‍♂️
