I remember being able to perform in the same show as him when I was around 10yr/o and I've been a fan of his ever since. It's honestly so inspiring seeing Chun Wei grow and gain recognition as a Chinese dancer. He is such a talented, humble, and positive person. Keep being an inspiration to us all! :)

I think it helps that he is from a province that has lots of contact with the west. There or Shanghai - they're not as opposed to self-expression as the rest of PRC. The vast majority of the country really looks down on dancing - by anyone, but especially by boys (although with their VPNs they watch others sing and dance and love it! And we'll see what this generation is able to do!) - Fate was on his side there - and we are all so very fortunate to be able to share in his talent. I hope that his story moves even just a few back home. Thank you!

That's actually not entirely accurate. Some of the best dancers and some of the best dance programs in China are in places other than Guangdong and Shanghai.
