I’m sure he meant the bricks were 5 times stronger than concrete in tension. Concretes compression strength is amazing. So I kinda doubt these 20-30 pound bricks would be stronger. The envelope of the structure worries me too. I didn’t really see how insulation was provided. So unless you live somewhere that’s 75 all the time, you’re gonna have a crazy inefficient hvac system. So great idea for less developed countries, but unless this idea kinda blends with modern day design. I think they’d have a more successful project
@Allbonez3 жыл бұрын
Our less developed countries don't want it. Why do they have to send their experiments to us. This is not structurally sound for most developing countries. We have earthquakes, flash floods, volcanic eruptions. These wouldn't last one monsoon season.

There needs to be transparency in the content agents in the construction of these bricks as I have seen various vids on recycled materials, some of which re-use plastics some decades through dredging which contains toxics harmful through vaporaptic inhalation! So what do these bricks contain as when you look-up online can contain harmful agents which purchasers are unaware of potentially dangerous. Too many of these 'entrepreneurs' are beginning businesses on the premise that we are somehow benefiting the environment when in fact not only are we risking health yet again, but also removing elements that bind this world. In thus example they're talking of local materials, what happens when we remove them and then move on to the next area. We need better materials that we can safely re-use or fully sustainable types such as trees from which perhaps resins/fibres/bulk materials. Wood has been a long-term material supply until we discovered concretes/bricks etc and now it seems plastics yet we still risk life whether ourselves or the animal kingdom. We need better innovation, ideas and a firm commitment to the balance of all we can create but not at the cost of failing in the long term, NOW!!!!🤔🤨😡
