Heat wave in ME is dry even the average temperature is above 40, it is still tolerable unlike in SEA where even the average temperature is lower but it feels like 5-10 degrees higher due to moisture in the air.

Hey, thanks for this brief overview! I'm no expert on geography, yet I remember seeing maps where island chains above Australia were labeled, "Melanesia," and, "Micronesia," and I learned that the Polynesians from this area also settled in Hawaii - if I rightly recall. We know about the empires like China and India, and we know about the Koreas, Japan, and the Philippines because of our interactions with them. Beyond Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, I did know Thailand ( formerly Siam) and Burma (now Myannmar) were in the region - but I didn't know where all the puzzle pieces fit. So, this overview of the current 11 nations of Southeast Asia was an eye-opener for me. Thank you!
