Question on the Willy’s Krytonite engine is Lamar and Walden. Is that a 348-409 engine? And what trans are they running 4 speed manual or 4 speed Hydramatic ( Pontiac olds Pontiac)?

Yeah, most of my footage is qualifying. I think there was an uneven number of cars in that class so as they were eliminated he would get to race others. He may have been the low man from the previous races. I'm not sure. Thanks for watching!

@@chrisbailey5301 I was a kid in the 60's, the clocks were always on. Truth is a bunch of those cars are 6.50, low 7's, slow. Good example of a real gasser is the Blu By You 55 Chevy, 5.50's. Just how I feel about it. To each his own.

@@Nobody-ld7mk truth is, A/Gas average is 5.50s, and the current record is 5.305. Truth is, with the clocks on fans know who the fastest cars are after qualifying. Truth is, they stick around a lot longer if they don’t. Truth is, many small tracks did not have clocks until early 70’s when bracket racing started needing them. Great video coverage as always!
