Let’s just take a moment to pay a huge appreciation to the guy who took the time to film all this carnage and great footage! 👍🏻👍🏻

I believe he mostly films it for us Pilots in the videos, it's so awesome, he's got a few of my landings this year, it is very helpful to see what we can do better to improve on our launches and landings.

Wow, if I've ever want to sit back, drink some beers and watch some madness - this is definitly the place to be! Lots of humbling moments in this video lol.

Seriously! Great job ripman on continuing to film these! Don't ever stop! 😄 And damn.. that person at the 0:17 mark.. gave zero shit for anyone. Could of killed the engine and started over again. 😔 .. and that poor guy with the black and blue wing... someone give him a hug lol.

Thanks for sharing Ripa The first and second video seems like there's a whole lot of oscillation takeoffs and a lot of people that aren't getting control of the gliders before they throttle up ... There are a few gems but they're far few in between 😏👍 Thanks for sharing with us and by us I mean those that weren't able to make it 👍

@@KentTexas totally agree! But they should have the basics skills and technique…
@KentTexas11 ай бұрын
They have the basic skills and techniques. I guess they don't realize, their props aren't going to push as much and...the gliders won't have the lift they are used to. To much brakes on inflation! You need different techniques launching at sea level compared to 5000'. That's most likely why Brad Roper flies a 303 Polini. Lol

I felt so bad for the poor bugger on the Velocity (blue and black wing), nice looking wing, but wholly crap, it did not want to fly! That guys needs a medal for perseverance.....and a shot at flying another wing to see how other wings inflate!
@iKenFlyPPG11 ай бұрын
Lowlander Techniques + High Density Altitude = All This I have added this to my list of Fly Ins to attend because I 'believe' my foot launch Thor 202 140 prop will allow me to cheat, so I look like I know what I'm doing.

I've never seen so much poor decision-making in one fly-in. This should have been a collection over a span of a year. So many unprepared for 3500 ft altitude density. Which isn't THAT much. People need to start taking this s*** seriously.
