Southern Leyte - Savedra Dive Safari

Just come back from southern Leyte for a 7 day safari with Savedra Dive Centre. What a week, everything worked out perfectly, from the accommodation at Kuting Reef, the weather was perfect, the diving sublime as always, the safari boat crew were tops and even the whalesharks and dolphins came to say hello bang on time too!
The film is a little long, nearly 17 minutes (sorry there was just too much going on to cut out, when I have time I'll redo it to make it super summarised).For those that don't have time to watch the whole thing, skip along the timeline to the following points for the top highlights:

Yep, Leyte is a great place to dive. Must have been great to dive in the Philippines in the 80's, when there was a much healthier shark and fish population. If only we had time machines! It was filmed with a Sony PMX-EX1R and Gates Housing.

Great dive video, I was station in the Philippines back in the mid and late 80's. I miss diving there. What model of underwater video cam did you use? What dive housing? Again, great video!

was the white coral at 2:10 bleached or are there really white corals? o_O the surrounding corals looked normal...

The white creature at 2.10 is some kind or gorgonian fan, it's not coral, that is the colour i is meant to be.
