Watching from 20 degree anchorage alaska with snow. I donate to the local spca about 100 dollars for Thanksgiving and Christmas and during the year when I have extra dollars. I have adopted several dogs from homes they could no longer stay and those dogs have given me so much in return. Thanks for the tag along with you...

Sad Fact: Now that many of these abandoned places are being featured on the internet, their vandalization and destruction has been accelerated. Not all visitors are as respectful as Chris Attrell.

I really love your videos because you make us feel a connection with the places you visit, and your voice is relaxing to listen. All of them were built and carried a lot of expectations, hope and dreams of thousands of people back there, and probably we will never know who they was, but thanks to your videos, we know they lived there, and leave these walls, filled with history. The structure in 13:50 belonged to Rhodes Alkali & Chemical Corp, but I'm not sure what exactly the purpose of that plant, or if was even finished. Maybe could be something related to the Rhodes Salt Marsh or something like that. If someone from that region, or with more knowledge about the topic watch this video, please, tell us. Thanks for let us be your company in your travels, stay safe and a lot of hugs from the South of Brasil to you and your family. Merry Christmas in advance to all people of Saskatchewan.

Jon Aurich is doing some restoration of the hotel, owner of the Rustler #2 mine which takes tours.. he also does burro rescue.. several other KZbinrs have documented Goldfield and the places you were, they were purposely vague because of vandal activity and off readers who seem to be destructive children when they visit. Thank you, I watch some Ghost town videos of Alberta too.

Rio Dell, on the north coast of California. I lived in Tonopah for a couple of years- Still wonder how the miners stayed warm in the winter as there is no wood to gather in the desert to burn. Come visit the north coast of California and film the great old buildings and Victorian mansions.

You would need a earth house to escape the nightmare heat. It's possible but expensive to build. Plus living in the middle of nowhere by yourself could be unsafe because you don't know what crazy person might cross your path.

Two things: 1 He is from Canada. Some pronunciations vary with regional dialects and accents. 2 He explained in the video - and needlessly apologized - that some of his pronunciations might be off due to a brain injury that he sustained when he was young. Respect is a wonderful thing.

The tour of the ruins of small, medium and large ancient settlements is very cool. It shows our fragility as mortal human beings. The Bible shows us our past, present, future and eternity. Jesus is our only hope of salvation. Jesus is our Savior and Lord of our souls.
