Sped up to 1.25 playback speed (100bpm) and had a blast jamming along. Cool progression. Thanks

Your fingers will get stronger/tougher, much quicker, coordinated, and in time/rhythm. Dedication, practice 2-3hrs every other day, or less daily , learn the notes/chords/scales on each string, and you'll soon notice the improvements. Good Luck and have fun at it!

Hey Tim I am 67 years young and picking up the guitar after about a 50 year hiatus during which I learned to play drums. But I'm back learning guitar after all those years and loving it! You're jam-tracks are so good. It's like jamming with a tight band. I'm curious I record and post myself playing along as a way to document my progress etc. I hope that's OK. I'm not monetized etc. Just want to get better on guitar. Thx vm. Bobby

You deserve it, I am a retiree in a few years and just got back to guitar, and as I used to play mainly my Classical Guitar (just enough to be better than most people that do not play - hahahahaha), then I picked up again my old cheap electric one and a plectrum I never really used to for solos - just strumming - I am good at strumming. I do use other jamming tracks, but I always end up playing yours! They are structured better for guitar soloing and even some strumming. They are 'clear' and without 'added noise' - PERFECT for learning and practising or just enjoy playing - Sorry for this long essay 😂🎸🎶❤👍@@t-guitar

This is in the Key of A Major. It is a V-IV-I-V progression. This is also known as Mixolydian. There is no D Major chord in the key of E.
@gillespourtalet589110 ай бұрын
It is ok on a major alson c#minor aeolian
@tombisbano10 ай бұрын
C#m aeolian contains a D# note. This is what makes it incorrect. Now, if you change that D# note to D it will work. Why? Because that changes it to the Key of A Major. Music Theory is very much like math. No matter how much you may want 1+1 to equal 3, it won't. By the way, I love the backing track.@@gillespourtalet5891
Its V-IV-I-V in A , in case you are struggling to find original key.
@t-guitar11 ай бұрын
That's correct 👍✌️🙂
@neoclassic0911 ай бұрын
But you can approach it starting with I or I then each of the others in relation. Or you can just treat each chord as its own island with no relation to the others until the final half beat before the next chord to make it sound like it goes into it. Tbh you can play in major or minor around each chord for any of them, and weave in and out. It's very strange how that is possible yet it still sounds like it works
@rudybigboote388310 ай бұрын
😁 I was just about to post the same thing and your post is already there. Yeah in E major the D chord would be a minor.
@rudybigboote388310 ай бұрын
@@neoclassic09either you are way more advanced than I am or… You have to approach music in terms of a key signature because that is what defines the role of each chord and the relationships between the chords of the key. Otherwise it’s just a random assortment of chords that don’t lead anywhere.
@jaydougie9 ай бұрын
Wouldn’t that make it E mixolydian since it centres around E?

Good morning, thank you for your honest feedback. I'm afraid it's not my fault that ad blockers can't be used, it has nothing to do with my videos, it's the same with all other KZbin videos as well ... I have turned off ads DURING a video in my channel settings so you can play along to the backing tracks without interruption. I haven't changed this since I started my KZbin channel either. I would be grateful if you do not give my videos a "like" or "dislike" because of the advertising, but you should rate the video itself. After all, the advertising does not come from me but from KZbin itself. Saludos cordiales
