One of these guys lives next door to me. He has a customer black crawler with the entire cage covering the whole thing. We have trails behind our houses he climbs and it's insane what that thing will go up safely. I want even attempt it on our 700 raptors way to steep and long to boot. It's basically a long smooth high wall from where they used to mine coal here. That big V8 just screams up it no problem. He actually has it up for sale the whole rig trailer extra tires tims and all. He said he was getting to old and had sunk a fortune into competing over the years. Now that I have watched the video it looks just like the red one that says havoc on the seat except it's all black. I wish I was rich enough to afford it for just a toy.

I know nothing of this sport aside from it looks wicked. When these vehicles flip and tumble down a mountain like you see a lot, does tweak and bend the frame? or are these things tough enough to not do any frame damage? How long do one of these frames last after serious competition and abuse?

+jakemj03 Depending on conditions you will see different tires, but that 43" TSL SX is the go-to bouncer tire.

Like 3:34...that's all you need. You don't need 3,000lbs of tubing. Half the point is to be LIGHT. All that tubing weighs, and all that weight is up high, where it'll just make you roll over. I was thinking, i bet that front-engine buggies have an advantage here, in terms of balance.

+Felipe Luiz Dickmann is for the heavier duty rockwell axles. they put it on the end of the driveshaft. bc if you stop the driveshaft then it automatically stops the wheels. but if the caliper is on the wheels then it has to try an stop the wheels an then all drive train too.. it just brakes alot easier that way. some have them this way some dont. usually you will see them on big mud trucks with big heavy tires.

Love the sound of a V8. Not my favorite engine, but it definitely SOUNDS the best. Although, I gotta say, I'm not a fan of these tube buggies. Especially the ones where they go overboard with the tubes; some of these look like they have about twice as much tubing as they really need. Just looks...weird. And it's like they did it because they think it looks cool or something. *Buggies aren't supposed to look good*!
