I'm JSU alumni and JSTATE allday but I habe to gives these girls their props..The sexiness, sassiness in their every move is so catchy..You can't help but to Love them. Jordan energy is so off the charts and she's clean with every move. Ummm Dani, what's wrong niece. Still pretty and legendary but you have to catch on. Mel is beautiful and a great dancer as well. Also be mindful Danni has an entire squad of her own she is molding and solo ventures so things were probably running together hence the mistakes. Im sure she’s not practicing doll counts because she’s no longer competing for a spot. She came, saw, and conquered the rest is recreational. Jordan needs to take a few notes from Danielle. They are both energetic as hell, but Danielle knows how to control her movements and can give you grace and softness. She’s a very versatile dancer. However, Jordan hasn’t found that versatility yet. She can easily learn from Danielle, because they are cut from the energetic cloth, than from a much softer dancer like KP and April. Danielle was never a soft dancer until her captain years, especially 2017. Jordan can do it!

I think jordanis fine just the way she is. Every doll has that certain aspect of how they like to dance. When she was a crab they told her to find her median and soften a little bit. I think she is very controlled with her moves because if she wants to be energetic or soft, she will. But not every doll has to comply with the "normal" style of how a doll "should" dance.

For all those saying Jordan dances too wild y’all don’t understand being able to match the setting you’re in. The J Settes, Stingettes, and Golden Girls were in the building. All those are hard hitting teams that pop and boogie. You add that to the fact that most if not all of the crowd is more used to that style of dancing then you would understand the need to up the intensity from the Dolls. The Dolls dont pop or boogie, the style is more graceful, prissy, and fluid. It can be just as high energy as the other styles but you have to put the intensity into it. Jordan does just that perfectly. Yes the Dolls are known for milk but sometimes you need to be served Almond Milk, hell its better for ya ass anyway.

Meh...I definitely recall all but 1, maybe 2, of those strutting sequences/counts being done during the 2017 season. And even if they were all new, unless Danielle didn't know she was doing this appearance until the day or 2 before, that's literally what practice is for. LOL Granted, Dannie gave us 5 good years and has given the Dolls a strong step forward in their legacy. No problems letting her have one "off" appearance with all the work she's put in.

Isn't Dani in grad school?? I'm not really sure because I don't follow social media. She also has her high school team she's coaching plus her choreography classes she teaches. Their schedules probably didn't sync up enough to get a good amount of practice. Melody at least had some familiarity with the new stuff from parade season.

Still LOVE the dolls and they’ll be my faves for life but entrance for me goes to the J-Settes and actual zero quarter to the Stingettes

Danni is graceful in her movement which I believe is the true southern style. Jordan is a bit more rough and rugged which doesn’t stand out as much when in the back but as a lead it makes everyone else look off. I think if she tones it down a bit and not try so hard to overcompensate for her lack of size the group and her upcoming squad will look better cohesively. I prefer her during KP’s reign. She stayed in the pocket and didn’t do as much. I think that is what made KP and Danni great leaders because they had controlled energy. They were sure of themselves and completed their moves with more fluidity and Jordan’s movement is a bit rushed . She can be a bit choppy and forced at times making it hard to follow or keep up. It works as a solo act but not as a whole. The count selection didn’t flow although each count individually is sickening. That’s what I loved about Danni because she mixed the hard hits with the soft sass to give u dynamics. rd hits with the soft sass to give us dynamics. I love Jordan’s story though and I’m excited to see her journey as captain. She’s so humble and strives to improve so that alone will get her far.

Sam Cook no not necessarily. The count selection and sequence was just fine. The other two just didn’t catch on correctly for whatever reason a couple of times. Stamper and Mel gotta pay attention to every beat 1 and they won’t miss their counts. It’s the off-season 🤷🏾‍♂️
